Dr. Stuart Springer has been in private practice of orthopedic surgery for over 40 years specializing in sports medicine and arthroscopy. He is the co-founder and director of the International Arthroscopy Center at the Hospital for Joint Diseases and is a clinical associate professor of orthopedic surgery at New York University. Dr. Springer is board certified in orthopedic surgery and is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons and the Arthroscopy Association of North America where he has served on a number of committees.
He has lectured and taught arthroscopic surgery extensively domestically, as well as internationally, and has written numerous articles in journals and textbooks. Dr. Springer has refined techniques of repairing torn knee ligaments arthroscopically, as well as correcting recurrent dislocations of shoulders and knee caps by arthroscopic methods.
